Detroit Growth Fund Accepting Applications
First Children's Finance is pleased to announce that we are accepting applications for our 2009 Growth Fund class in Detroit’s Skillman Good Neighborhoods.  This is an exciting opportunity for nonprofit and for profit child care centers to enhance business expertise and also to grow as leaders and professionals.

The Growth Fund combines grants with the expert help centers need to identity and tackle their most critical business challenges.  If your center is chosen to participate in the Growth Fund, you will receive a $5,000 grant to develop your own business plan and additional grants up to $20,000 over two years to implement it.  You will also network and exchange ideas with your peers and with the Growth Fund advisors.  This group of business and early care and education professionals will share their knowledge and experiences with you as you develop and implement your business plan.
