Welcome! I’m Monica Duncan, Michigan Director for First Childrens Finance.  We are so pleased to bring First Children’s Finance programs to Michigan in partnership with the Kellogg, Kresge, and Skillman Foundations.

Congratulations to Michigan Growth Fund Awardees: (Click for details)

“…They (FCF) honestly have a true love for the children of Michigan.  I feel like -- because of them -- the children of Michigan will have a brighter future."
-- Cassandra Rice, Director of Our Kidz World Learning Center

"...First Children’s Finance has given me an opportunity that I thought I’d never have-- a chance to grow my business.  They also have given me support and confidence to fulfill my dreams for my business.”
--Mrs. Katherine Tuggle of Angel Wings Child Care Center

"...I really feel empowered. I feel like I can do it. Really it inspired me to go deeper and evaluate our finances. I am so excited about my new financial knowledge. It opened my eyes to some things I wasn’t aware of. I found some errors that I didn’t even know to look for. Now I am inputting actual numbers in my spreadsheets so that I track income and expenses more accurately…I had been so discouraged…and now I feel courageous and encouraged. I can do it. I know my program can become awesome.”
--Shirley Wright-Hailey of Little Scholar’s
