Business Community Engages with Immigrant/Refugee Population in St. Cloud

In partnership with the St. Cloud Area Thrive, First Children’s Finance has organized and convened the Greater St. Cloud Area Thrive/Access Business Advisory Council.

Growing diversity in the St. Cloud area means that its businesses and families are facing unique challenges that can only be solved by working together. The Business Advisory Council engages the private sector with leaders in early childhood development and education in St. Cloud.

The Greater St. Cloud Area Thrive builds powerful cross-sector community action teams to pursue Thrive’s goal that all infants, toddlers, and preschoolers have access to services that support healthy social and emotional development. In partnership with Thrive, the Access Project specifically works in collaboration with immigrant and refugee community members to assure that they and their children also have equal access to those services. First Children’s Finance is engaged with these initiatives thanks to generous funding from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota Foundation.
