Salary and Benefits:

FCF is seeking a Program Specialist to join its growing team in Minnesota, which is expanding to serve more child care providers and more communities statewide. This Program Specialist position provide programmatic and administrative support to our Community Programs in Greater Minnesota.

FCF is seeking candidates from Minnesota. This position is a remote work opportunity, working from home with some in-person meetings required as pandemic conditions allow. This position may require travel within Minnesota. Some evening hours will be required.

Essential Functions:
  • Works with the Business Development Managers, Business Development Specialists and Minnesota Director to promote and implement community programs, services, and resources to support the mission of FCF across Greater Minnesota.
  • Manages scheduling, logistics, outreach and communication for in-person and virtual community meetings and events.
  • Manages updates and distribution of presentations, handouts, and other program-related materials.
  • Supports gathering, management, and evaluation of program-related and event-related surveys and data.
  • Supports program outreach and communications efforts including content development for print, online and social media platforms.
  • Coordinates with FCF Central Office staff related to invoicing, consultant/interpreter management and other administrative processes
  • Assists with program reporting as assigned
  • Documents Community Program processes and procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  •  Experience working collaboratively in communities
  • 3+ years of experience working in an administrative or support role, preferably in a nonprofit, social service or small business setting
  • Strong technology skills
  • Experience in communications/content development preferred
  • A strategic thinker and planner as well as an effective implementer
  • Open to learning, accepting positive and constructive feedback
