First Children’s Finance is seeking your insights to better understand the health of Oregon’s child care businesses. We want to understand the financial and operational challenges and opportunities facing your business. Please share your experiences and opinions related to workforce, facilities, funding, and more in our short survey. Your insight will help us identify areas where additional business support is needed and inform our programs and initiatives across the state. As a token of our appreciation, the first 100 providers to complete the survey will receive a gift card. Navigating the Early Years: Focus Groups for New Child Care Business Owners in Oregon
If you started a new child care business in Oregon in the last two years, we want to hear from you!
First Children’s Finance is hosting focused sessions to hear from child care entrepreneurs about the experience of starting a child care business in Oregon. Insights from these sessions will be used to inform recommendations made to state officials about how to better support child care business owners in the critical years after launch.

Time: 6-7 pm PST
Compensation: $25 via mailed check (Attestation required agreeing to spend funds on allowable items.)

First Children’s Finance, in partnership with the Oregon Department of Early Learning and Care, has developed funding program resources packed with tips and tricks to help providers prepare for participation in Oregon’s public funding programs.
