FCF Names Ericka Warmack as Director of National Lending

First Children’s Finance announced today that Ericka Warmack, CPA, SSGB, has been named as the Director of National Lending.

As the Director of National Lending, Ericka will increase access to financing for child care entrepreneurs. In her new role, Ericka will lead the FCF Loan Fund team and its strategies to ensure child care businesses have access to capital to start and grow their operations.

Most recently, Ericka served as the Chief Financial Officer, V.P. of Transformation, Interim V.P. of Corporate and MBE Services and V.P. of Events at Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council (The Council), a multi-million dollar economic development organization that facilitates over $36 billion annually in economic output, resulting in 205,000 jobs created or retained. At the Council, she devised a value creation/revenue growth initiative and digitally transformed the financial infrastructure, resulting in over 200% in increased restricted program funding. She culturally integrated formerly siloed departments and divisions resulting in the Detroit Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) Center becoming the U.S. Department of Commerce’s top MBDA Center in 2018.

Prior to the Council, Ericka was a Director at DWH, a business advisory firm, guided by a full-stakeholder/community-based approach to distressed business consulting, company liquidation management and turnarounds, working with banks, investors, funders, business owners and communities. Throughout her public accounting career she has worked with publicly and privately held companies, high-net-worth families and non-profits.

Ericka received her B.S. in Accounting from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. Ericka’s hobbies are exploring the beautiful outdoors, listening to jazz and Afrobeats and studying natural health and wellness. She will join First Children’s Finance on July 26, 2021.
